The Steinbrenner baseball team went up against the King baseball team on March the second in an intense game. Steinbrenner Warriors scored 7 runs and the King Lions were limited to only 3 runs. The Steinbrenner baseball team is currently on a 4-win streak with a 100%-win rate and 1-0 for their district score.

For the individual athletes’ scores, there were spectacular performances shown during the match. Jorge Romero had the most runs during the game and he also had the most runs batted in. He was tied for most plate appearances with D. Sardegna and Aidan Forde on 4 plate appearances. Aiden Forde also had the highest batting average out of everyone that whole match at .750. Landen Boever had the most stolen bases with 3 stolen bases. The Steinbrenner Warriors had most of their runs during the 6th inning with 5 runs.

For the King Lions they did not show up with the greatest performance this match. Their individual scores were not great and their ability to hit runs against Steinbrenner was poor. C. Hendricks, Jacari Sandlin, and Nico Brown all got 1 run individually. They did not get any baserunning attempts because the Steinbrenner Warriors were not going to let them steal a single base. The King Lions had all 3 of their runs during the 4th inning of the match.

The Steinbrenner Warriors are looking well but they are not finished just yet. Steinbrenner has many more matches to play and much to improve on when going up against other teams. They might have beaten King easily, but their next match will have to be played with an even better performance if they want to take the victory home.
