A new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers location has recently opened on State Road 56, and it’s been a great hit. With dine-in lines flowing out the door and the drive through line wrapped around the building, this new Cane’s location is in high demand! Since Cane’s hit Tampa, all of us are excited to try their amazing chicken tenders, their mouthwatering Texas toast, and their tangy signature sauce.
Following its opening on January 28th, we went to the new Cane’s to test it out. Entering the building, it was crowded and cramped. The line was pouring out the door, and workers were running around filling orders and telling cooks to drop another basket of chicken.
“The line was really long, and my brother and I waited for about an hour, and it like wrapped around the whole building and it wrapped around the back,” junior Brooke Snee said. However, despite the long wait, they got their food fairly soon after ordering.
The long wait is worth it after guests are given a plate of exquisite food. Junior Lauren Jones states “Yeah, it was really good, of course, I get that 3-finger combo. So good, extra Cane’s sauce.” To Laurens surprise, there was a link to a survey on the receipt where customers can send in their thoughts for a chance to win free Cane’s for a year. As for us, we managed to skip the wait by sending a mobile order and were able to quickly begin our research.
For it being both our first times, we played it safe and tried the 3-finger combo accompanied by an extra side of Cane’s sauce and extra toast. As we got our food, we gleefully went back to the car to see how delectable this place is and see what we thought about how that 3-fnger combo could be summed up in one word: Wow. An array of flavors hits your taste buds; savory, tangy, seasoned, you name it. The chicken tenders were juicy, the crust falling off the chicken, and the Texas toast nice and warm, packed with seasoning. Of course, the main event is the famous Cane’s sauce. Once we dipped the food in the sauce, it was so creamy, flavorful, relish, and it is the best sauce to dip your food in. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has lived up to the hype, 10’s across the board!
