The autumn air has officially made its way to Starbucks. This year’s fall menu, dropped on August 22, has a lot to offer with the famous classics, but also new additions that have your mouth watering at the name. You can look forward to this season with returning drinks like the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew or with new drinks including the Apple Crisp Cream Chai (Nondairy), keeping you excited all the way to winter.
This year, everyone is raving about the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. According to starbucks.com, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai is “a rich creamy iced chai— our blend of black tea with cinnamon, other warming spices and milk, topped with a sweet pumpkin cream cold foam.” Aubree Gunn, a senior at Steinbrenner, states, “It’s my favorite drink. It gets me in the mood for fall.” All over social media, including TikTok and Instagram, this beverage has become very popular since it made its first appearance on the menu last year.
A fan favorite, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is now considered a classic. It is a returning flavor that made its debut in 2019. Harper Brodsky, a sophomore, states, “I tried this drink because pumpkin is my favorite flavor from Starbucks.” Also seen regularly on TikTok, this cold brew is meant to be a sweet, delicious beverage that is perfect for the season.
In 2024, the newest drink that has dropped is the Iced Apple Crisp Cream Chai (Nondairy). Reviewed by Candace Davison on purewow.com, she states, “…The nondairy drink remains light, not syrupy, but fair warning: it is one of the sweeter drinks on the menu this season.” This beverage is made with chai spices, oat milk, and finished off with a nondairy cold foam that tastes like brown sugar apples. This chai drink will help bring all the comforting vibes that come with autumn.
Keep in mind that Starbucks’ fall atmosphere will only last until the end of October or the beginning of November. This means it’s time to step into your fall era and get a classic or new fall drink from this year’s Starbuck’s menu.
