Christmas music has a way of bringing warmth and nostalgia, and it’s understandable why some people would want to listen to it year-round. It can create a cozy and festive atmosphere, even outside of the holiday season. Plus, it’s a great way to keep that holiday spirit alive all year long!
“I listen to Christmas music year-round because Christmas is my favorite holiday so by listening to it, it gives me joy to the season,” senior Talan Primmer said.
On the other hand, there are people who prefer to keep Christmas music reserved for the actual holiday season. They might argue that listening to it year-round could dilute its specialness and make it less exciting when Christmas finally comes around. They might also enjoy the anticipation and build-up to the holiday, and having Christmas music playing all the time might take away from that.
“I wait to listen to Christmas music until its around that time because I think it takes away the excitement,” junior Andrea Manjaka said.
Ultimately, whether or not you listen to Christmas music year-round it’s a personal choice. It’s all about what brings you joy and makes you feel good. If it puts a smile on your face and makes you happy, then go ahead and enjoy it whenever you want! After all, music is a wonderful way to express our emotions and connect with the happy spirit of the holiday season.
