With Winter right around the corner, Starbucks has recently put their holiday drinks back on the menu, with new additions to make this season even more festive! On November 2nd, Starbucks dropped multiple new items on the menu, some of which Steinbrenner will be excited for. The Peppermint Mocha will forever be a classic, but with these new drinks, you might have to rethink that. Some of the drinks include the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and the Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte.
One of our seniors at Steinbrenner, Jaida Bilkas, is most excited for the Hot Peppermint Mocha Latte. “I love the idea of sitting outside and having this hot drink while I study
or chat with friends. It is such a classic winter or holiday flavor,” said Bilkas. Off the menu, she has tried the Chesnut Praline latte and the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. However, she states both drinks are sweet and sugary, so if you are not a fan of sweeter drinks, she wouldn’t recommend it.
Norah Callan, a freshman, is most excited for the Caramel Brulée Latte. According to starbucks.com, this drink is a combination of espresso, steamed milk, and caramel brulée sauce. Callan has tried the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and described it as “a little bit spicy.” She would recommend it, “if you like a lot of spices, and that holiday feeling, then that drink is for you,” said Callan.
With the love of these drinks, questions arise about how long Starbucks plans to keep the drinks on the menu. Don’t worry, if you haven’t tried any of them, they’ll be offered for quite a while longer seeing as Starbucks plans to keep these items on the menu through the new year.
