One Pot Flavorful Butter Beef
This recipe is perfect to prepare in the morning for when you have a busy day ahead and want to come home to a warm meal already being cooked with just one pot. It’s quick, easy, delicious, and will make clean up a piece of cake.
Tools you’ll need:
-One crock pot
-Large pan (if you choose to add veggies)
-Large cookie sheet (if you choose to add veggies)
– Large spoon
-Butter knife
Ingredients
-3lbs of stew beef
-1 stick of unsalted butter
-1 14.5 ounce can of low sodium beef broth
-Dry or fresh minced garlic (as much as you prefer)
Optional Ingredients
-1 package of fresh green beans
-1 package of precut squash, zucchini, and onion
-Olive oil
Directions
• Put all of the stew beef into the crockpot
• Slice the butter into pieces and place them around in the crockpot
•Pour all of the beef broth on top of the stew beef and butter
•Sprinkle the preferred amount of dry minced garlic on top
•Cook on low for 10-12 hours
Optional Vegetables
•Wash the green beans and break the stems off
•Place them on the cookie sheet, spread out
•Drizzle a couple tablespoons of olive oil, coating them fully
•Sprinkle dry minced garlic
•Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes
•To sauté the rest of the veggies, heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan on medium-high heat
•Put the precut squash, zucchini and onion into the pan and sauté for about 10 minutes until tender
•Once everything is done cooking, serve over white jasmine rice and enjoy!
Recommendations
Adding the vegetables adds a variety flavor and a nice touch. If you prefer no vegetables, potatoes or mushrooms are also a good alternative. You can also use brown rice if you prefer that over white jasmine rice.
