Are Buzzcuts the Newest Hair Trend?

Recently, the grounds of Steinbrenner have been flooded with buzzcuts as a popular haircut. Of course, everyone has their own opinions on what the best haircut is based on how it looks on themselves, but is it right to deem buzzcuts as the current most popular look?
Buzzcuts have always been an option for what people want to do with their hair, it keeps the hair short and comfortable, while still being a good-looking haircut. However not everybody will like this haircut, as some people like long hair or do not like how a shaved head looks on themselves.
Also, deciding to shave off all your hair is a big commitment, and some people don’t want to take the risk of getting a buzzcut and it end up not looking good, while others end up loving it and enjoying the new short hair.
“Buzzcut’s are not a bad haircut, but not everyone can have short hair like a buzzcut and look good,” said sophomore Rylan Tierne.
Tierne used to have a buzzcut, so speaking from experience he continues saying, “Long hair looks much better because you can do more with it and find your style. [With] buzzcuts, you have one haircut, and you can’t change it if you don’t like it. You must commit to it, no matter how it looks.”
Another student, Aiden Carevic, gives his opinion on the popular haircut, “I really don’t like buzzcuts, they look ugly. I don’t think anyone can pull off a buzzcut.”
Since buzzcuts are a style choice, it only seems right that not everyone will like how they look. But going for it and trying it at least once wouldn’t hurt since, universally, it’s a look liked by most people.
